What does it look like for you to Emerge with One Heart?
How is God working in your life to renew your spirit, to cause you to grow closer to Jesus, and to equip you to go to the people around you with Jesus’ love? You may already have answered these questions and you’re already pressing forward into new dimensions of discipleship.
But if you’re not sure, The Red Letter Challenge (RLC) is coming in Lent (March and April). RLC is a forty-day journey of listening daily to the words of Jesus (Red Letter) and learning to put them into practice (Challenge). Books will be available beginning on the weekend of February 20. There’s also a children’s version which we are making available to every Concordia household with children.
Each week during the 40 days focuses on an essential element of being a follower of Jesus: Being, Forgiving, Serving, Giving, and Going. You will learn what Jesus said about each of these. And you will be challenged to put into practice what you are learning.
Red Letter Challenge is one way you can Emerge with One Heart, to Renew, Grow, and Go. Take the challenge. Your heart will be renewed. You’ll grow closer to Jesus. And you’ll be better equipped to go about your daily life radiating Jesus’ love to the people you encounter.
