CCLS

Our private, parochial day school expresses our commitment to strong youth ministry at Concordia. Since 1974 when we partnered our day school with four other area congregations, Concordia continues to work and make Christ Community Lutheran School (CCLS) a great place for kids to thrive academically. Most important, though, is the spiritual care which children and families receive from our school faculty and staff.

The Vision for CCLS

CCLS is a fully-accredited school serving infants as young as 6 weeks through students in Grade 8 conveniently located on four campuses in Kirkwood, Webster, Glendale, and Crestwood.

God has generously blessed the efforts of our school association. The U.S. Department of Education has recognized CCLS as a high-achieving Blue Ribbon school, the National Lutheran School Accreditation commission has named CCLS an Exemplary School, and our current enrollment of 670 students is at its peak.

We are a leader in technology integration, we boast state championship athletic teams, globally-competitive academic teams, excellence in fine arts and performing arts, clubs and activities that meet varied interests, and graduates who are wildly successful in high school, college, and beyond. Every single day in our classrooms, each student has the opportunity to grow in his or her faith in Jesus under the leadership of our Christian teachers. Our mission to nurture each child through the Gospel to live the faith and share the Good News of Jesus Christ in an innovative environment of academic excellence is thriving.

In a world where secular society is increasingly fragmented, CCLS remains a community where Biblical truths are the foundation, Christian character formation is paramount, loving by serving is woven into our very fabric, and excellence is pursued with joy and rigor every day. We are a school community of academic excellence and faith integration. We are committed to helping students develop a full slate of life skills on a foundation of Biblical truth and Christian values that will allow them live lives of constructive service in the church, community and world. We hope that you will visit us at CCLS. Our faculty and students look forward to showing you our school.
