Christ Community Lutheran School

Our private, parochial day school expresses our commitment to strong youth ministry at Concordia. Since 1974 when we partnered our day school with four other area congregations, Concordia continues to work and make Christ Community Lutheran School (CCLS) a great place for kids to thrive academically. Most important, though, is the spiritual care which children and families receive from our school faculty and staff.

Tax Dollars Can Support Lutheran Education with MOScholars!

Taxpayers to the state of Missouri—both individuals and businesses—now have the unique opportunity to direct up to 50% of their state taxes to Lutheran Education. The tax credit program, MOScholars, allows the Missouri District to convert tax dollars into scholarships for qualifying students attending LCMS schools throughout the state.

Reserving these tax credits is easy and can be completed online in a matter of minutes. The Missouri District website (mo.lcms.org) contains even more information on MOScholars, as well as the links to get the process started. The deadline for reserving these tax credits is December 31. Questions can be directed to Leah at 314-590-6211 or leah.sieveking@mo.lcms.org.

At no additional cost and with minimal effort, MOScholars is a win for taxpayers, families, and Lutheran schools throughout the state. Thank you for your participation in MOScholars through the Missouri District!

The Vision for CCLS

CCLS is a fully-accredited school serving infants as young as 6 weeks through students in Grade 8 conveniently located on four campuses in Kirkwood, Webster, Glendale, and Crestwood.

God has generously blessed the efforts of our school association. The U.S. Department of Education has recognized CCLS as a high-achieving Blue Ribbon school, the National Lutheran School Accreditation commission has named CCLS an Exemplary School, and our current enrollment of 670 students is at its peak.

We are a leader in technology integration, we boast state championship athletic teams, globally-competitive academic teams, excellence in fine arts and performing arts, clubs and activities that meet varied interests, and graduates who are wildly successful in high school, college, and beyond. Every single day in our classrooms, each student has the opportunity to grow in his or her faith in Jesus under the leadership of our Christian teachers. Our mission to nurture each child through the Gospel to live the faith and share the Good News of Jesus Christ in an innovative environment of academic excellence is thriving.

In a world where secular society is increasingly fragmented, CCLS remains a community where Biblical truths are the foundation, Christian character formation is paramount, loving by serving is woven into our very fabric, and excellence is pursued with joy and rigor every day. We are a school community of academic excellence and faith integration. We are committed to helping students develop a full slate of life skills on a foundation of Biblical truth and Christian values that will allow them live lives of constructive service in the church, community and world. We hope that you will visit us at CCLS. Our faculty and students look forward to showing you our school.
