Exciting Changes to the Camp Trinity Experience
The pandemic has had an impact on everyone’s schedules, priorities and even our interests! Just like you, we have had to adjust to a new world and go with the flow. Camp Trinity has long been a tradition at Concordia and we have been blessed by Camp Trinity’s hospitality and service. This tradition has had a huge influence on the lives of young people in our church over many, many years and we want to make sure we provide every opportunity we can to help your children’s faith grow.
We are excited to announce that the Camp Trinity experience will now be a one day best-day-ever extravaganza! 4th-8th graders (2022-2023 school year) are invited to join us as we travel to Camp Trinity in New Haven, MO on Tuesday, June 21st from 8:00am-10:30pm! This is a day of spiritual growth, super fun activities in God’s beautiful creation, and friendship building with peers and adults who all value and cherish our Christian faith and share in the love of Christ Jesus.
The day’s activities include:
Bible studies
Swimming
Crafts
Kayaking
Paddle boating
Games
A campfire
And lots of friendship and fellowship!
Concordia’s staff members Rebecca Schultz, Katie Killian, and Patty Wilson, along with Concordia members Jeremy Dehn, Nora Witbrodt, KristyAnn Pfister, Christian Rempel, and Carol Grotha will be leading the camp experience, and the campers will be paired up with their high school counselors throughout the day.
We will gather at Concordia on Tuesday morning at 8:00am where we will load buses and head to Camp Trinity for an exciting and spiritually inspiring day. We will leave Camp Trinity by bus at 9:15pm and arrive back at Concordia for pick-up around 10:15pm.
