Family Outdoor Day

June 5th, 10:00am-11:30am
Come join us and invite another family for outdoor fun! Bring children’s bikes, trikes, and scooters to ride around our two tracks and enjoy a free family event with activities, treats and more. For children 1 year old-5th grade and their families.

This summer we look forward to offering both in-person Family VBS and Virtual VBS!  Please decide before registering whether you would like to attend in-person July 12-15th from 6:15-7:45pm with your family or virtually. 

FAMILY VBS- July 12-15th, 6:15-7:45pm 

We are doing things differently this year and will not have drop off VBS, we are asking that at least 1 parent per 5 kids be present for the entire evening. 
Family VBS will include an exciting Rally in the Concordia Center with songs, a Bible lesson, activities, and more! Each night will conclude with activities including crafts, games, and creating Truth Bags to give away and share the Gospel of Jesus with others!  
(Family VBS will follow all St. Louis County COVID guidelines- registration will be open until we reach capacity limits). 
For children 3 years old -5th grade (2021-2022) and children and youth with special needs. You are more than welcome to invite a friend to VBS! Register them with your family/group when you sign up.

VIRTUAL VBS- JULY 12-15th 

Virtual VBS will provide online videos and resources for your family to do in your own home and at your own convenience! Supplies will be provided and will be available for pick up at Concordia.

Children's Ministry

Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by: building relationships with them, Being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word. If you have any questions or would like more information about any of our Children's Ministry programs, email Rebecca Schultz at .

Nursery/toddlers
PARENTS AND 2’S

Children and their parents will learn basic Bible stories and songs led by Concordia members, Karen and David Lanius. Parents will also have the opportunity to break away with Karen and learn how to share faith with a toddler. Parent(s) must be present for a 2-year-old to attend.

NURSERY

Information about the nursery and where to go. All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition all teacher helpers must attend training.

Sunday Kids Min

For all kids three years old through 5th grade! Kids will KNOW their faith-GROW their faith- and SHARE their faith. Whether your family worships at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00am Sunday KidsMin works.

SCHEDULE

  • 9:30am - All kids Check in the Large Commons (before 9:30 worship or after 8:15 concludes)
  • 9:30-10:30am - Let’s Praise GOD! All ages, children are welcomed and encouraged to praise God through fun worship songs and faith-filled activities.
  • 10:30am- Parents pick up children from classrooms.

At this time registration is required to attend Sunday KidsMin and we will be able to host a limited number of children. Registration will close on Friday evening in order to have individual supplies prepared.

Wednesday Kids Night

Register for KidsNight Spring 2021

KidsNight meets on Wednesday evenings, starting on January 27th.  

KidsNight is for children in 1st - 5th grade. We meet on Wednesdays twice a month from 6:00-7:10pm.   

This semester children will be uncovering stories from the Old Testament and learning how God was with His people then and he is still with us and has a plan for us today and we will end the last few weeks with New Testament stories discovering how Jesus loves everyone.  

Each evening will include organized and socially distanced recreation (in the gym or outside when possible) and in the classroom a bible lesson, games, and time getting to know one another. 

Here is what KidsNight offers-an opportunity to:  

  • Grow in their relationship with Jesus  
  • Build their knowledge of Scripture  
  • Make new friends in their church family  
  • Build relationships with Christian caring adults  
  • Learn to have great fun - at no one else's expense  
  • Develop a better understanding of worship  
  • Discover that they are an integral and valued part of the church body and Christian community

Join us for games, fun, ice cream and time in God's Word. Bring your friends!! (At this time we will not be serving dinner)

We want you to connect with Christ and community. That's so important to us. And we do that on EPIC nights for the time you are there. Hope to see you at EPIC NIGHT ... where kids meet Christ in play!
