Children

Children are valued as full members of the body of Christ at Concordia.

The children's ministry includes newborns through grade five and focuses on our mission statement of BE STILL – BE ONE – BE FAITHFUL.  Our goal is to partner with the home, which is the primary environment for faith formation, so children may grow in their faith and be workers in the kingdom of God. For more information, contact Audrey Duensing-Werner, Director of Children and Family Ministries.

Sunday Morning - 10:45-11:45am

Our Sunday morning programming doesn't meet during the Summer and instead we have created Mission-cation "To-Go" Boxes to help you serve others as a family this Summer.

Parents of 2’s

Children and their parents will learn basic Bible stories and songs, and then parents will hear from Karen Lanius, an expert in Early Childhood Development, on how to share faith with a toddler. Parents must be present for a 2-year-old to attend.

3’s and 4’s and Their Parents

Our goal is for each little heart to walk away from Sunday Morning 3’s and 4’s with a basic knowledge of the special stories God gave to us in the Bible. Parents are invited to be a part of this class with a chance to break into a small group and connect as a community of faith to support and affirm each other around God’s Word.

KidzMin Sunday School

Each Sunday in the Dining Hall and Music Room, Kindergarteners through 5th-graders meet in small groups to hear God’s Word and “share and care” for each other.
