Scott Seidler serves as the Senior Pastor. Scott's primary work is focused on preaching, leadership development and accountability, and implementing Concordia's ministry vision. Scott earned his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, with a focus on preaching and congregational identity. Prior to attending Trinity, he earned his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and attended Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri. Scott has previously served congregations in Illinois and Michigan, has served as a guest/adjunct instructor at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and is involved with a number of local and national Christian organizations. Scott and his wife, Renee, grew up together in Morris, Illinois, have three children (Abby, Lauren, Connor) and a significantly overfed Siamese cat named Phil. Scott's passion beyond church is golf and building slightly tilted structures around his house.

Associate Pastor for Adults and Older Adults

David Meggers serves as Associate Pastor at Concordia. He is the Unit Executive for Adult and Older Adult Ministries. He graduated with a BS.Ed. from Concordia University St. Paul somewhere back in the late 70’s. He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 1988 and also his Master of Sacred Theology degree in 1997. His first ministry career was as a Lutheran teacher in Green Bay, WI and then Norwood-Young America, MN with volleyball, basketball coaching and youth ministry as joyful activities as well. His first pastoral call was as a church planter to Southeast Rockford, IL. This became Christ the Rock where he served for 24 years; 3 as planter and 21 as their called pastor. He is Married to Jeanette, father of Philip and Kristina, Father-in-Love of Nate Paul and Becky Meggers, and grandfather of Jackson and Claire; son of Duane and Luetta; a child of God who operates best in a spirit of Joy. PM enjoys driving his boat (can’t drive a golf ball), the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, playing hand drums and short term mission trips near and far.

Steve has been a Concordia member since 2000. He teaches the LifeLight Bible Series on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings with Women’s, Men’s, and Couples’ Groups. His passion is helping youth and adults grow in the Word of Christ for a life of connecting people to Jesus. He is a 1966 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. From there he has served the church in a variety of positions including, parish pastor, seminary professor and president of Concordia Publishing House. He also served as interim senior pastor at Concordia Kirkwood (2006) and Glendale Lutheran Church (2011). Dr. Carter has written six books in the area of devotional and spiritual growth and several Bible studies. Steve and his wife, Gail, a Lutheran educator have been married over 50 years and have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.

Eric was born and raised in Massachusetts. He married Linda Jones in 1973 and they moved to Concordia Seminary, Springfield, IL. After vicarage in Lake Worth, FL he finished seminary at Concordia, St. Louis in 1977. Eric has served as pastor in Hudson, FL from 1981-1988. He was called by Ministry to the Armed Forces of the LCMS to Active Duty as a chaplain in 1988. After 20 years on as an Army chaplain he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1988. After retiring he served as the Assistant Director, Ministry to the Armed Forces from 2008-2015. 

Eric and Linda have three grown and married children, Aaron, Joel, and Leah. They have seven grandchildren. The Erkkinens live in Oakville and have been member of Concordia since 2009.

Rev. Ken Krueger serves as the CEO of the Lutheran Federal Credit Union.  Ken earned a BA from St. Olaf College, an MPH from Boston University, both a JD and an MBA from the University of Virginia, and an MDiv from Concordia Seminary.  Ken and his wife, Amy, are blessed with two girls, Grace and Lily.  The Kruegers also are blessed with a Tibetan Spaniel named Buzz.  A Wisconsin native, Ken greatly enjoys cheering for the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers – especially from his seat at Lambeau Field!

Rev. Ron Roma serves on the staff Lutheran High School South as Campus Pastor and a teacher in Theology, English, and Social Studies. He earned his BA from Concordia Senior College, Ft Wayne, a Master of Arts in Education, Counseling and Psychology from Washington University, St Louis, and his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two sons who are both serving in ministry. Rev. Roma enjoys conversation, cars, cycles, sports, music, outdoor activities, and good movies.

Rev. Travis Scholl is managing editor of theological publications at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and author of the book Walking the Labyrinth (IVP). Travis earned a BA from Valparaiso University, the MDiv from Yale Divinity School, and is currently a PhD candidate in English in the creative writing program at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Travis and his wife, Jenny, have two boys (Justin and Evan). He will keep playing basketball as long as his baseline jumpshot stays with him, and always roots for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Karen Allman serves as the Executive Assistant tor the Senior Pastor. She will be assisting Pastor Seidler with managing his Concordia, Lutheran community, and national LCMS responsibilities. Karen will also be responsible for the cash receipts and accounts payable within the Finance Department. In her previous work life, she was a project manager for Northrop Grumman IT after graduating from Valparaiso University and getting her Masters of Information Management at Washington University. After volunteering for years with the children’s and youth programs at Concordia, she joined the staff in 2012. Karen and her husband, Ron, are the parents of two children, Michael and Lauren. For fun she loves spending time with her family, attending Cardinals games, photography, and spending time with her extended family in Michigan every summer.

Kristin Anderson serves as the Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of Concordia. As Executive Director, she provides executive level leadership to the Church by executing strategic plans, developing processes to achieve strategic ministry goals, and providing management and guidance to key operational functions including finance and accounting, risk management, facilities, information technology, human resource management, marketing and communications, and special projects. Kristin is a CPA and holds an MBA from Washington University. She began her career as an auditor and management consultant for Ernst & Young LLP and Cap Gemini. After starting a family, Kristin felt led to work in a non-profit, church environment. Kristin is a long time member of Concordia and attended Christ Community Lutheran School (CCLS). Kristin and her husband Dave are the parents of three children, Peyton, Parker and Devon. For fun she enjoys watching her kids’ sporting events and the Cardinals.

Kelly Callahan serves as Assistant for the Worship Arts, using her strong editing background and attention-to-detail to manage production of all worship-related communication, specifically bulletins. She also proofreads the monthly Concordia Connection newsletter, prayers, funeral bulletins and other projects, as required. Additional responsibilities include coordination of the daytime front-desk volunteers, Saturday-night reader rotation, and preaching/liturgist schedules. A lifelong Concordia member, Kelly earned a bachelor of journalism (MIZZOU), which led to three previous positions in public relations/marketing, including 15 years as writer/editor for INTRAV & Clipper Cruise Line. An avid Cards fan (now that the Rams have departed for LA), she also enjoys the antics of her rescue-cat Gordon and time well-spent with friends.

Jessica is a lifelong member of Concordia with roots that run very deep. She also attended Christ Community Lutheran School. During college, she volunteered with special education students at River Roads Lutheran School in north St. Louis and worked as a caregiver to individuals with severe disabilities. After graduating with honors from Webster University with a degree in Special Education to teach mild/moderate K-12, she taught a lower elementary class at Missouri School for the Blind. She met her husband Wesley in college and they have been married for nearly a decade. While home raising their two amazing children, Heath and new baby Vivian, she also worked as a tutor for students with learning disabilities. In her spare time, she enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her family and watching Netflix while eating ice cream straight from the carton after her kids go to bed.

Coordinator for Pre Cana

Debbie Davis serves as the Coordinator for Pre Cana. The Pre Cana seminar is for couples planning their wedding at Concordia and is designed to help grow couples grow in their relationship with one another. The seminar also includes a Prepare/Enrich Inventory. Debbie and her husband Charlie are certified Prepare/Enrich facilitators and enjoy working with couples to prepare for their life-long journey of marriage. Debbie is a teacher and holds a BA from Fontbonne University, a MAT from Webster University, and completed the Colloquy Program through Concordia University Chicago. In addition to her responsibilities at Concordia, Debbie serves Lutheran High School South as the Director of Resource Room Services. Debbie and her husband Charlie are the parents of Joel (Rosa) and Jonathan and the grandparents of Nico.  She enjoys spending time with her family and especially her grandson Nico, training to walk half marathons, scrapbooking and sharing the love of Jesus.

Audrey Duensing-Werner ministers most to families with young children and Jr. Youth. She graduated from Simpson College in Indianola Iowa with a major in Music Ed and a Minor in Vocal Performance. She taught Vocal Music for 4 years in a public school in southeast Iowa. In 1990 she attended Concordia University St Paul and was certified as a Director of Christian Education (DCE). Previously she has served as a DCE in congregations in Michigan, Minnesota and Kansas and is involved in a number of National Organizations. Most recently she was certified as a National Spiritual Director and is pursuing her masters in Spiritual Formation from Creighton University. She is married to Ronald Werner and mother to Kyle. Audrey is an extreme extrovert and enjoys singing, planning and designing events but mostly spending time with people.

Sharon Ema started as Parish Nurse in 1997. Her leadership role has expanded to Director for Healing Arts in 2006. In addition to her RN licensure, she is a certified substance abuse counselor (CRADC) in Missouri, and has completed parish nurse and parish nurse coordinator trainings. She has presented at conferences and workshops. Sharon is currently involved in community organizations. These include: Committed Caring Faith Communities, and Shepherd’s Center of Webster-Kirkwood. At Concordia, she is departmental leader for Human Care, Care Ministries, Older Adult Ministry, Visitation and Pastoral Care. Her role includes health educator, health consultant, referral source, volunteer coordinator, integrator of faith and health, and health advocate as she reaches out to the lost and the least with Christ's healing. She is the wife of Tim and mother of three grown children, Andrew (A.J.), Ben, and Joshua. For fun she loves to spend time with her family, making jewelry, crafts and other activities.

John Frank grew up in Austin, Texas with his five sisters and brother, attending St. Paul Lutheran School. He graduated from Concordia University, Seward Nebraska. and later earned a Master of Church Music degree at Concordia University, now Chicago, Illinois. John spent his first 25 years of called ministry teaching in Lutheran grade schools and serving as a church musician. In 1995, John was called as full time Minister of Worship and devoted his energies to worship planning, developing a full time church music ministry with choirs, church orchestra, and instrumental groups. In 2001, John was honored to be named a Distinguished Alumna of Concordia University, Austin, Texas. After many years of playing, directing, encouraging, and mentoring, John retired in 2013. He enjoys serving part time as organist at Concordia allowing him more time with his wife Annette, children and grandchildren. He hopes to continue to pursue his love of gardening, travel and develop other interests. John and Annette consider their new church home a “real blessing” and appreciate the opportunities for worshiping and serving the Lord as well as studying the Word.

Barry Hirth has served on the Facilities team since 1990. Barry has a BA in Sociology from the University of Missouri Columbia. Barry and his wife Suzanne have three boys, Barclay, Devon, and Colin, all CCLS graduates! Barry also has a grandson named Elliot. Barry loves watching his grandson grow up and is an avid golfer.

Sharon Karleskint is the Department Administrator for Adult and Older Adult Ministries. In April 1989 she joined the staff of Concordia as Executive Assistant. Her current responsibilities include maintaining the church membership records, listing the official acts of the church, assisting with weddings, funerals, human care, facilities and providing staff support as needed. Her duties also include as "stage manager" for our four Sunday morning worship services, ensuring everything is choreographically as perfect as possible. Sharon and her husband Tom were married for 43 years until his death in 2013. They have three grown children Tom, Tori and Wesley and two grandchildren. For fun Sharon enjoys spending time with her grandson Tommy’s school activities and sporting activities, and keeping up with granddaughter Elayna.

Brendan Knorp serves as the Director for the Worship Arts at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, MO, where he leads, plans, and coordinates traditional and contemporary worship. He earned his BA in Music and Secondary Education from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, MI. After five years of teaching music, spanish, and theology in Lutheran high schools, he discovered an even greater passion for ministry at the congregation level, which he has enjoyed since 2001. In addition to his ministry at Concordia, he has been actively involved as a performing guitarist and violist and classical guitar instructor. He and his wife, Stacy, have two beautiful daughters, Lydia and Evie. For fun, Brendan enjoys hiking, running, photography, and dangerously spicy food. He has a few silly YouTube videos and a Christmas CD which makes an excellent stocking-stuffer.

Nyssa Lytikainen helps to plan and lead worship in the Concordia Center. She has been playing piano since she was a child and has enjoyed worship leading and playing keyboards in a variety of places since she was a teenager. She has been married since May of 2015 to her husband Matt, who is finishing his fourth year of graduate school at Concordia Seminary to become a Pastor. They love to their hometown, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and also love dreaming about planting a church together, possibly in St. Louis, or wherever God calls them! In Nyssa's free time she likes writing and recording music, and making decorative things out of junk.

Jim Marriott serves as the part-time director of the Sanctuary Choir. In addition to his work at Concordia, he serves as the Director of Musical Arts for Concordia Seminary. He holds a Master of Church Music from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis. (2008),  a Bachelor of Parish Music from Concordia University, Nebraska, Seward, Neb. (2004), and a Doctorate in Liturgical Studies from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill. He is a regular recitalist and lecturer at Christian venues throughout the country. He serves as the founder and artistic director for Evangelii, the youth choir of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle, which annually tours the nation. He also has published worship materials through Concordia Publishing House and Liturgy Solutions. He and his wife, Kristi, have two children, Joel and Kirstin.

Katie Mulchek serves as Director of Communications. She has been in ministry for 12 years serving in positions of communications, design and marketing. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2005 with a degree in Entertainment Management - Event Marketing. She also has her own wedding planning business, Your Perfect Wedding Day, and she is a wedding coordinator at Concordia. Katie served as Director of Marketing and Design at Living Word Church for 7 years, following that position she was a Marketing Specialist at Lutheran Hour Ministries. Katie was raised at Concordia and went to CCLS. She is married to Mark Mulchek and they have two sweet baby girls, Audrey and Abby. Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to plan parties (any kind)!

Jayme graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Science from Central Michigan University and was certified as a Director of Education in 2004 at Concordia St. Paul. Her favorite aspect of ministry is building relationships with people and watching God use those relationships to draw people closer to Him. Jayme and her husband Kobi met in high school in Michigan, have three children (Isaac, Carrington, and Jeremiah) and a slight addiction to reality TV. In their down time they also enjoy watching Michigan football, Tigers baseball, and Red Wing hockey.

Valerie Reisner serves part time as Administrative Assistant to Children, Youth and Families Ministry Team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Maryville University with a degree in Business Administration in 2015. She currently works full-time as a Business Analyst at Mercy in their business office in addition to working for Concordia. Valerie has been married to Matt for 20+ years and they have two wonderful children: Matthew is a student at Missouri State University and Veronica attends CCLS. The Reisners are fairly new members to Concordia but have truly enjoyed jumping in to all of the various activities Concordia offers. In her free time Valerie is cheering for and shuttling Veronica around to her many sporting events, wherever they are throughout the Midwest. Go Chargers!

She is in charge of contributions and payables and assists with the management of church finances. Kelly is married to Nate and is the mother of triplets, Evaline, Kate and Nicholas who attend Christ Community Lutheran School.

Kyla Rodriguez serves as the Assistant Director of Christian Education. She is a native of Maryland, and a graduate of Concordia University Chicago's Director of Christian Education program (BA) where she specialized in youth and family ministry with a minor in theology. Her ministry mostly recently has included serving The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod - Youth Ministry Office as part of the team for the 2016 LCMS Youth Gathering. Before that she served as a DCE in Green Bay, WI, on staff with Group Mission Trips and as a DCE intern here at Concordia Kirkwood. Her passion is working with students to help them to see Jesus at work constantly in their lives and how deeply they are loved by Him! In addition to her parish ministry, she enjoys serving as the Editor for the National Association of Directors of Christian Education (NADCE) Quarterly publication. Kyla also enjoys running, blogging, reading, and a good cup of coffee. Kyla and her husband Adam met in college and share a passion for ministry. They transitioned to St. Louis in the summer of 2015 following Adam's calling from DCE ministry into pastoral ministry to study at Concordia Seminary. They welcomed their first son, Carson James, in December 2016.

Marcy Scholl serves as the New Member Coordinator and is responsible for welcoming and communicating with visitors and new members. She schedules and organizes classes to connect, engage, and celebrate new members into the Concordia Lutheran Church community. She has been in ministry for the last 20 years as the Laborers For Christ Administrator, part of Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Her primary responsibilities were to build and nurture relationships with the Laborers and communicate with congregations. Marcy would follow-up on applications, coordinate construction projects nationwide and assimilate people with requisite skills for sites. Marcy and her husband Jim are lay founders of Show-Me Lutheran Teens Encounter Christ in St. Louis, long time members of Concordia and are the parents of Travis (Jenny) and Joshua, and two beautiful grandsons, Justin and Evan. Marcy loves spending time with her family and grandsons, as well as playing card games, gardening, and watching Cardinal games.

Tom Wangler has served on the Facilities team since 2008. Tom began his career in 1971 as a NASA astronaut but a tragic knee injury inspired a new passion of ministry in church facilities. Tom is married to Nancy and has two sons, Zach and Dan. In his free time, Tom enjoys appearing in the background of television newscasts and knitting.

Patty Wilson serves as an assistant to all ministry staff at Concordia. She has served on staff since 2000. Her main responsibilities include production of the Church bulletins and newsletters and support to the Youth Department. She also has a hand in poster design, and mailings. Patty has a BFA in Graphic Design from Kansas State University (go Cats!). She is married to Phil and has four children, Bradley, Matthew, Melissa and Zack. She enjoys logo/graphic design, designing in her home studio, camping, and is active in Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts.
